Mercy Springfield is seeking a dedicated Paramedic (EMT-P) to provide direct patient care under the Medical Director’s guidance. You will assess, stabilize, evacuate and transport patients while adhering to Mercy EMS protocols and standards of care.

Formación

• Paramedic (EMT-P) license for the state of practice
• Hazmat awareness level training
• ACLS at hire
• PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer
• Valid driving license
• Applicants must be at least 19 years of age
• ITLS or equivalent training
• Background in Emergency Services
• In areas where TEMS services are provided, TEMS training is preferred

Responsabilidades

• Perform direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, basic and advanced medical rescue to access, stabilize, evacuate and transport a patient to an appropriate destination
• Perform clerical and maintenance duties as assigned
• Respond quickly to ambulance calls and operate in challenging environments
