Job summary

Mercy EMS in Springfield, MO seeks a Paramedic to provide direct patient care, triage, and advanced life support. This full-time role requires 42 hours per week and offers a sign-on bonus. You will stabilize, evacuate and transport patients, while upholding Mercy's standards and safety protocols.

Applicants must hold EMT-P licensure in MO, a valid driver's license, and be prepared for a rigorous fitness and skill verification process. Previous emergency services background preferred.

Qualifications

• Paramedic licensure (EMT-P) is required.
• Hazmat awareness training required.
• ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment and rapid medical interventions.
• Stabilize and evacuate patients and transport to appropriate destinations.
• Perform clerical and maintenance duties as assigned.
