Mercy EMS is seeking a full-time Paramedic (EMT-P) for Mercy Springfield. The role involves direct patient care, assessment, stabilization, and transport of patients per Mercy protocols, with additional clerical duties as needed.

Licensure and certifications are required, with Hazmat awareness and ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months. The position requires physical capability to meet demanding EMS tasks, continuous readiness, and the ability to operate in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Paramedic (EMT-P) license for the state of practice required
• Hazmat awareness level training required
• ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer
• Must meet essential physical requirements and mobility

Responsabilités

• Direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, and medical rescue to access, stabilize, evacuate and transport patients
• Perform clerical and maintenance duties as assigned
• Respond quickly in challenging environments and operate under Mercy EMS protocols
