Job summary

Mercy EMS in Springfield, MO is hiring Paramedics to provide direct patient care, assess and stabilize patients, access and evacuate to appropriate destinations, and support clerical duties as needed. This full-time role includes a 42-hour week and a sign-on bonus, under the Medical Director's guidance.

Applicants must be Paramedic (EMT-P) licensed in the state, have a valid driver’s license, Hazmat awareness, ACLS at hire and PALS within 6 months, and demonstrate the ability to meet rigorous

Qualifications

• Licensure: Paramedic (EMT-P) license for the state of practice
• Valid driving license
• Hazmat awareness level training
• ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer
• Age 19 or older

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, stabilization, and transport
• Access, stabilize, evacuate and transport patients according to Mercy EMS protocols
• Perform clerical and maintenance duties
