Job summary

Mercy Springfield is seeking a full-time EMT to join our EMS team. The role includes direct patient care, assessment, and rapid response within Mercy Health System guidelines, with a 42-hour workweek and a sign-on bonus.

The ideal candidate holds an EMT license for the state of employment, is at least 19 years old, and meets listed certifications (Hazmat Awareness, BLS, NIMS 100/200/700/800). Other shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• EMT license for the state of employment.
• Must be at least 19 years old to operate Mercy EMS vehicles.
• Hazmat Awareness and BLS; NIMS 100/200/700/800 within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment and basic life support.
• Operate within Mercy Health System standards and EMS protocols.
• Be prepared for variable shifts and additional duties as required.
