This program is designed for newly licensed Paramedics, offering additional didactic and critical care exposure, with hands-on hospital-based care of acutely ill patients. Clinical experiences include the Adult Emergency Department, Trauma, Medical, and Neuro ICUs, to promote a comprehensive understanding of patient care.
Work three 12-hour shifts weekly, with options for Day (7a-7p) or Night (7p-7a) shifts, including evening, night, and weekend shifts with differential pay. Weekend shifts include working Saturday and Sunday every other week.
Candidates should demonstrate foundational proficiency in ventilator management, airway establishing, medication management, and patient assessment, with an ability to work under supervision and communicate effectively.
