Job summary

AdventHealth in Oviedo, FL is seeking a compassionate Paramedic to provide bedside patient care under the physician and in collaboration with the Registered Nurse. You will participate in shift reports, safety huddles, rounds, and hourly rounding, documenting interventions in a timely manner.

The position requires 1+ year of paramedic experience, active Paramedic license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with a full-time day shift in a faith-based, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• Associate in paramedicine preferred.
• Graduate of state approved paramedic course required.
• 1+ year of experience as a paramedic in clinical or field settings.
• Licensed Paramedic (PARA) required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in bedside shift reports, safety huddles, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding.
• Provides quality patient care under Physician direction and with RN collaboration.
• Participates in shared decision-making and performance improvement activities.
• Accepts accountability for problem-solving issues and works with leaders to resolve clinical issues.
• Documents interventions in a timely manner.
