Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a dedicated Paramedic for a full-time day shift in Oviedo, FL. You will provide high-quality patient care under physician direction and work closely with registered nurses, participating in rounds, huddles, and shift reports.

Required: state-approved paramedic training, valid PARA license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, plus 1+ year of field or clinical experience. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in paramedicine preferred.
• Graduate of state approved paramedic course required.
• 1+ year of paramedic experience in field, hospital, or clinical setting required.
• License: Licensed Paramedic (PARA); BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in bedside shift reports, safety huddles, and rounds.
• Provides quality patient care under physician direction and in collaboration with the RN.
• Participates in shared decision-making and performance-improvement activities; inputs to committees.
• Accepts accountability for problem-solving with leaders to resolve clinical issues.
• Documents interventions in a timely manner.

Location: 8000 Red Bug Lake Rd Suite 120 Oviedo, FL

• Actively participates in bedside shift reports, safety huddles, multidisciplinary patient rounds, and hourly rounding.
• Provides quality patient care under the direction of the Physician and in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.
• Participates in shared decision-making, performance improvement activities, and provides input to committees.
• Accepts accountability for problem-solving issues and works with leaders to resolve clinical issues.
• Documents interventions in a timely manner.

Education

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Associate in paramedicine [Preferred]

Field Of Study

Work Experience
