Job Overview:
The Paramedic will provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) services to patients.

Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Current Driver's License meeting insurance requirements.
- NJ Paramedic Certification or National Registry Paramedic Certification (reciprocity eligible).
- American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR).
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
- Hazmat Awareness Certification.
- ICS 100, 200, and NIMS 700, 800 certifications.
- Completed Weapons of Mass Destruction or CBRNE Awareness training.
Preferred:
- PHTLS/ITLS certification.
- Associate Degree.
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Same as required qualifications above.
Scheduling Requirements:
- Per Diem: 10 shifts of availability, work 6 over 3 months, including summer/winter holidays and 2 weekend shifts, within the home region.
- Part Time: Two scheduled shifts per week, totaling 4 over two weeks, with at least 2 on weekends, 24 hours/week.
- Full Time: Three shifts per week, including weekends, on a rotating schedule, 36 hours/week.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain professionalism, communicate effectively in English, and adhere to safety and operational protocols.
- Operate vehicles per laws and policies.
- Complete required training and documentation.
- Interact professionally with team members, patients, and other healthcare providers.
- Perform routine safety and maintenance tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
