Job summary

Gottlieb & Greenspan, a growing law firm in Fair Lawn, NJ, seeks a Paralegal for State Arbitration and Worker’s Compensation. You will draft and review routine legal documents, manage case files, and coordinate arbitration logistics across states.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in civil litigation; paralegal certification preferred. The role offers a strong benefits package and room to grow within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college required.
• Paralegal certification preferred, not required.
• Minimum 2+ years' work experience in a high-volume civil litigation practice as a paralegal.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite/Excel.
• Experience maintaining electronic case files and calendars.
• Experience coordinating trial/arbitration logistics in NY or NJ.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and/or analyze routine legal documents as requested by attorneys.
• Enter arbitration/case calendaring to track filings and distribute information.
• Perform elements of case management, including electronic file management and schedule tracking.
• Regularly interact with clients to provide updates on their cases and request documentation.
• Review briefs and filings for conformity with court-specific formatting, citation, and procedural requirements.
