Job summary

Gottlieb & Greenspan, a growing law firm in Fair Lawn, NJ, seeks a Paralegal for the State Arbitration and Worker’s Compensation team. You will support attorneys, draft and file briefs, and manage calendar and case files across multiple states.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in civil litigation, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Paralegal certification is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Paralegal certification preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years' experience in a high-volume civil litigation practice as a paralegal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Excel.
• Experience maintaining electronic case files.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and analyze routine legal documents as requested by attorneys.
• Enter arbitration/case calendaring to track filings and distribute information.
• Manage electronic files and schedule tracking.
• Regularly interact with clients to provide case updates and request documentation.
• Review briefs and filings for formatting and procedural compliance.
