Job description

Our client is a prestigious national law firm with headquarters in NYC. They are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join the team. The position is hybrid and based 3 out of 5 days at their office in Midtown, Manhattan.

Job Responsibilities

1. Draft and prepare pretrial documentation (prepare trial notebooks and witness/exhibit binders, etc.)
2. Contact witnesses and prepare subpoenas as necessary
3. Attend arbitration/trial and jury selection as well as meetings with witnesses and experts as needed
4. Provide computer litigation support
5. Interact at a professional level with clients and attorneys
6. Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

1. 3-5 years of paralegal experience required
2. Bachelor’s degree/paralegal certificate required
3. Experience with trial/arbitration prep
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
5. Familiarity with Federal and New York State court litigation
6. Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate critical information accurately and effectively
7. Excellent analytical skills

Pay Range: $30 - $32 based on experience
