Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Paralegal to support legal accounts and assist with a broad range of litigation tasks in a fast-paced, government-focused environment.

Responsibilities include legal research, document review, discovery management, and drafting materials for attorneys. A paralegal certificate or JD is required, with at least two years of litigation experience.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate, JD, or current ABA-accredited law student with at least one year of study.
• Minimum two years of litigation paralegal experience; trial experience helpful.
• Experience with federal/state court systems and legal research tools (LEXIS/Westlaw).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, accurate, timely paralegal support to LG and DU matters.
• Conduct legal research, summarize transcripts, and review case materials.
• Prepare draft legal documents and assist attorneys with litigation tasks.
• Manage discovery materials, privilege reviews, and privilege logs.
• Maintain case records, reports, and productivity metrics in databases.
• Coordinate with government staff, classification reviews, and fact gathering.
