Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Integrity and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and Adobe.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new things.
• 2+ years of experience as a paralegal or in a related area, ideally healthcare or insurance preferred.
• Associate's degree in secretarial sciences or business/office management, or certificate in paralegal studies desired.

Responsibilities

• Review correspondence and legal requests; gather related information and documents; assist with draft responses.
• Gather and perform initial review of information and documents for litigation and other legal matters, including discovery documents and spreadsheet data; prepare summaries for review.
• Communicate in a timely and professional manner with other teams, as well as external contacts.
• Track deadlines; assist in maintaining department calendar and in meeting deadlines.
• Create and maintain organized files for the department.
• Timely complete projects to support legal matters and department members.
