Job summary

Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP. seeks an experienced paralegal for its Commercial Transportation/Litigation practice.

This role supports attorneys from inception through trial and close, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include case management, timely billing, document review and summarization, trial prep, status reporting, and meeting all court deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience, preferably in defense litigation support.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved organization.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet all deadlines and prioritize workload.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams of attorneys, legal staff, court staff, clients, expert witnesses, etc.
• Demonstrated interest in defense litigation and legal research using Lexis.

Paralegal - Commercial Transportation/Litigation - Remote from PA

Weber Gallagher has an immediate opening for an experienced defense Litigation Paralegal for our Commercial Transportation Practice Group. The candidate will have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Pennsylvania. The individual will be responsible for supporting a team of attorneys with litigation tasks from inception through trial and close.

Responsibilities:

• Manage client cases from inception through trial and closing.
• Daily time entry billing requirements.
• Obtain, review, analyze and summarize documents, including medical records, financial documents and other relevant case information.
• Trial preparation - such as trial binders, exhibits and preparing witness files.
• Create status reports and provide updates to appropriate parties.
• Willingness to work on cases from start to finish and meet all court deadlines.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 3+ yearsof experience, preferably in defense litigationsupport.
