Base pay range

$68,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

A well-regarded law firm in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Consumer Bankruptcy Paralegal to join their team onsite. This is a full-time opportunity for a highly organized legal professional with experience handling Chapter 7 and 13 consumer bankruptcy matters, particularly with secured creditor representation in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, file, and manage pleadings in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters
Monitor deadlines, dockets, and electronic court filings (ECF)
Maintain communication with clients, courts, and trustees
Prepare proofs of claim, motions for relief, reaffirmation agreements, and related filings
Ensure compliance with local court rules and federal bankruptcy procedures
Support attorneys with case management and hearing prep

Qualifications

Minimum of 3-5 years of consumer bankruptcy experience required
Experience working with secured creditors is strongly preferred
High-volume case handling ability
Proficiency with CM/ECF, PACER, and case management software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication

Compensation

Salary up to $70,000 for highly experienced candidates
