Position: Family Law Paralegal (Remote)

This position is with a well-established law firm recognized as the 2023 Best of the Best Top 10 Family Law Attorney in Louisville, KY. The firm seeks a Family Law Paralegal to support attorneys through document preparation, client and witness interviews, research, investigations, and trial preparation.

This role is 100% remote; however, the paralegal must be within commuting distance for occasional on-site meetings, important court dates, or trials.

Responsibilities:

1. Meet with attorneys, clients, and professionals regarding cases.
2. Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories; file documents following judicial procedures.
3. Research statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other sources; provide written analyses.
4. Interview clients and witnesses; prepare summaries of statements.
5. Manage case files, evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, and related items.

Qualifications:

• Experience in family law or domestic relations as a paralegal.
• E-filing experience.
• Discovery experience.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally.
• Strong organizational skills, note-taking, and task prioritization.
• Paralegal degree or certification required.
