Job summary

Cipriani & Werner P.C. in Blue Bell, PA, seeks a General Liability Associate Attorney to join our growing team in a hybrid role. The ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA-approved school and a PA license in good standing, with 5+ years of liability litigation experience.

Responsibilities include evaluating files, client communications, discovery, depositions, and drafting motions and memoranda. ProLaw and MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and an active PA license
• Minimum of 5 years in General Liability litigation is required
• Ability to manage files from start to finish
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction and product liability; trial experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred
• Self-motivated, independent thinker with strong time management and organizational skills, team player in a high-volume environment

The Philadelphia Office in Blue Bell, PA is looking for a General Liability Associate Attorney to join our growing team.

• Evaluate new files.
• Client communications.
• Discovery production.
• Conduct Depostions.
• Research and prepare legal memoranda on various areas of law.
• Prepare and argue discovery.
• Substantive, dispositive pre- and post-trial motions and appeals.
• Attend pretrial listings.
• Motions and trial.

Position Requirements:

• Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in Pennsylvania; admission to the New Jersey Bar is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of General Liability litigation experience required.
• Ability to manage files from start to finish.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability required; Trial experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.

This is a hybrid position.

The salary range for this position is $110,000-$140,000 and represents C&W’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
