Job summary

Cipriani & Werner P.C. in Blue Bell, PA seeks a General Liability Paralegal to join our growing team. The role supports defense litigation efforts, prepares subpoenas, reviews discovery, and manages records for independent medical examinations.

Candidates should have at least five years of insurance defense experience, a college degree or equivalent, and proficiency with MS Office 365, ProLaw, and Excel. This is an in-person position with a competitive salary of $60,000–$70,000.

Qualifications

• Must have a college degree or work experience equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal experience.
• Experience proactively handling an attorney's case list.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare subpoenas, review and summarize discovery responses, deposition transcripts, and medical records.
• Schedule, notice, confirm, gather and produce all records related to Independent Medical Examinations, and calendar deadlines with strong follow-up skills.
• Draft motions to compel, sanctions, for extraordinary relief and motions to enforce subpoenas; assist with general motion practice.
• Perform verdict searches, docket searches, social media and background searches.
