Full‑Time 184 days/6.5 hrs/day
Assists in the instruction of students with disabilities in mainstream, resource room or center‑based settings. Duties may include:
$20.85/hour to $24.15/hour DOQ with K‑12 experience.
$22.00/hour to $25.30/hour with AA/AAS degree or 60 semester/90 quarter credits from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K‑12 experience.
$22.85/hour to $26.15/hour with BA degree from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K‑12 experience.
Special Ed Paras serving Center‑based students and classrooms 50 percent or more of their time shall receive an additional $0.50 per hour.
Special Ed Paras at Two Rivers Transition Program shall receive an additional $1.00 per hour. Special Ed Paras at River Trail Learning Center shall receive an additional $1.50 per hour.
*Candidates must have completed 60 semester/90 quarter credits or obtained an associate's degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited institution or passed the ParaEducator exam or ParaPro exam. (Documentation will be required)
