Job summary

Edmonds School District in Washington is seeking a Paraeducator Level 1 to work with certificated staff in classrooms or other learning environments, providing instructional support and student supervision, and preparing educational materials.

This position follows a 3.0-hour day and 181-day calendar, is non-exempt, and includes a wage range of $29.61 to $33.52 per hour under the 2026-27 Classified Support Staff Salary Schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old and have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must meet one of the listed education/credential options.
• Possession of valid First Aid and CPR certifications or willingness to obtain.
• Completion of mandatory training/orientation prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instructional support and student supervision duties.
• Prepare educational materials for classroom use.
• Monitor students' progress, behavior, and safety.
• Perform routine clerical tasks to support teachers and staff.
