Job summary

Everett Public Schools is seeking a Paraeducator for a 1:1 resource room in Special Education for the 2026-27 year. The role focuses on supporting students with IEP goals, health plans, and behavior strategies within the Resource Room and related programs. Qualifications

• Assist in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEP).
• Support students with academic, behavior/social, and adaptive needs.
• Assist with health plans, toileting plans, and medical delegations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of IEP and related plans.
• Assist with health and adaptive needs within the classroom.
• Support students in health/behavior plans and safety procedures.
• May assist with transportation duties as required.

Paraeducator responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the implementation of Individualized Educational Plan
• Academic, behavior/social, and/or adaptive needs
• Assisting implementation of Behavior Intervention plan
• Assisting in the health plan, toileting plan, and/or medical delegations depending on students' individualized plan
• May require Right Response training; depending on program and student needs
• May require riding the bus with a student

Resource Program:

The Resource program isa service for students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), health impairment, and mild social/emotional behavioral deficits. Resource services provide students with specially designed instruction to be successful in general education classrooms.
