Job summary

Clearwater Paper Corporation in Augusta, GA, seeks a Production Supervisor to coordinate hourly production employees and direct department activities to maximize productivity while maintaining safety and quality.

You will lead a zero-injury culture, coach staff, troubleshoot equipment, and drive continuous improvement, with emphasis on PPE compliance, OSHA requirements, and environmental health standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 3+ years of pulp and paper industry experience.
• Must wear PPE in manufacturing areas (eye/ear protection, hard hat, steel-toed boots).
• Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, odors, temperature variations.
• Frequent bending, lifting, standing, and climbing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach employees in safe work practices, equipment operation, and department processes.
• Assign, coordinate, and monitor work to ensure safety and schedules.
• Troubleshoot operational and equipment issues and take corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement and eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Maintain employee records and provide coaching and development.
