About the Role

Essity is looking for an experienced individual to operate converting equipment that produces napkins, toilet paper, bath tissue, and other products within a fast-paced tissue converting environment.

The ideal candidate should/could live in Neenah, WI.

What You Will Do

1. Work within Essity safety standards with a responsibility for others too.
2. Able to learn and apply operating and mechanical skills to operate process & equipment efficiently.
3. Able to consistently apply the necessary standards to keep the process under control.
4. Understand the safe operation of equipment, what it does/how it works, and perform housekeeping, inspection, lubrication, and simple maintenance tasks.
5. Lead small change-overs.
6. Order and prepare raw materials and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures.
7. Maintain communication with previous and next shifts, as well as other persons involved in running the machine.
8. Maintain an optimal housekeeping situation.
9. Secure the quality level of products by regular checks against specifications, rejecting, and blocking if necessary.
10. Complete all required documentation and data files during production.
11. Meet required hygiene and environmental standards per customer requirements.

Who You Are

• HSED or High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of prior machine operations experience.
• Motivated self-starter with strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Supportive with knowledge and ability to collaborate with small and large teams to sustain production and drive improvements.

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting hourly wage of at least $26.54/hour + benefits, with in-position pay advancement following training completion and qualification on specific equipment.

Pay may vary depending on knowledge, skills, and experience.
