About the Role

Essity is looking for an experienced operator of converting equipment that produces napkins, toilet paper, bath tissue, and other products within a fast-paced tissue converting environment.

The ideal candidate should reside in Neenah, WI.

What You Will Do

• Work within Essity safety standards, with responsibility for others as well.
• Learn and apply operating and mechanical skills to operate process & equipment efficiently.
• Consistently apply standards to keep the process under control.
• Understand the safe operation of equipment, perform housekeeping, inspection, lubrication, and simple maintenance tasks.
• Lead small change-overs.
• Order and prepare raw materials and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain communication with previous and next shifts, as well as other personnel involved in running the machine.
• Maintain optimal housekeeping.
• Secure product quality by regular checks against specifications, rejecting and blocking if necessary.
• Complete all required documentation and data files during production.
• Meet hygiene and environmental standards as per customer requirements.

Who You Are

• HSED or High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of prior machine operations experience.
• Motivated self-starter with strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Supportive team player with the ability to collaborate to sustain production and drive improvements.

Compensation and Benefits

This position has a starting hourly wage of at least $26.54/hour plus benefits, with potential pay increases following training and qualification on specific equipment.
