Job summary

Shadow Hills Golf Club in Indio, CA is seeking a Pantry Cook to join our fast-paced hospitality team. You will prepare pantry items for beverage carts, snack bars, and banquet operations, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include portioning, wrapping, dating, rotating stock, and coordinating with the chef to ensure adequate daily production. High school diploma or GED required; prior pantry experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares pantry products for beverage cart, snack bar, restaurants and banquets.
• Wraps, dates, and rotates food items; maintains proper storage and portioning.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas.
• Alerts chef or supervisor to equipment breakdowns, shortages or overages in a timely manner.
• Requisitions inventory and receives supplies for daily production.
• Ensures proper storage of food items, wraps and rotates items.
• Practices safe work procedures and maintains regular attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
