Job summary

HMSHost International is hiring a Cook to prepare cooked foods across Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs, coordinating with the manager on duty. You will deliver high-quality service to customers and associates in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires following recipes, maintaining safety standards, and partnering with store leadership. This is a non-exempt position reporting to the Store Manager or General Manager depending on location.

Qualifications

• The ability to follow recipes and prepare diverse food items with accuracy.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety practices.
• Experience in high-volume casual dining environments preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, cook, and plate soups, meats, vegetables, and other items.
• Estimate production requirements and requisition supplies as needed.
• Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment.
• Follow HACCP safety standards and maintain quality controls.
• Operate kitchen equipment and handle knives and hot surfaces safely.
• Stock, date, rotate, and monitor product temperatures.
