Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Assembler/Switchboard Technician for its Switchboard Satellite Operation. The role involves wiring panels, assembling sub-assemblies, and testing finished products to ensure quality according to drawings and schematics.

You will follow established procedures, maintain safety practices, and may cross-train across departments to support production goals. Overtime opportunities are available with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in an assembly related role with hand/power tools or completion of a one-year technical school diploma.
• Residence within 50 miles of the work location or active-duty military exemption.
• No immigration sponsorship offered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wiring panels and sub-assemblies based on electrical drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformance with specs.
• Follow power flow guidelines and safety regulations when wiring switchboards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and root cause analysis.
• Cross-train and flex across functions as needed to meet production demands.
