Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a Panelboard Quality Inspector for 2nd shift in Sumter, SC. You will inspect panelboards to ensure conformance to drawings, literature, and codes, using Hi-Pot and other tests while documenting issues and maintaining revision control.

The role emphasizes quality and timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment. The position requires basic electricity knowledge, 1 year of manufacturing experience, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of Manufacturing Experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong knowledge of basic electricity and electrical fundamentals.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Familiar with Lean concepts and 5S practices.

Responsibilities

• Visually and mechanically inspect panelboards per drawings and specs.
• Perform Hi-Pot, continuity and component tests per work instructions.
• Document non-conformances and coordinate required rework.
• Coordinate with inspectors to balance shift workloads and ensure coverage.
• Provide informal training and assist when needed.
