Job summary

Daedalus Industrial in Powdersville, SC is seeking a Production Manager to lead a dedicated data center BMS/EPMS panel program. You will own the build schedule, shop capacity, throughput, and quality, guiding foremen, trainers, and technicians while coordinating with QA/QC and Material Managers to meet ship dates.

Responsibilities include planning releases, maintaining standard work, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Experience leading production teams in an electrical manufacturing or panel shop.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
Familiarity with UL 508A and NEC codes and panel shop testing practices.

Responsibilities

Convert release schedules and forecasts into weekly/daily production plans.
Own critical path build schedule and ensure on-time shipments.
Balance labor, space, and materials to meet throughput targets.
Plan capacity ahead of volume changes and address shortfalls with Ops leadership.
Coordinate with Shipping/Receiving for outbound shipments.
Lead morning planning huddles and weekly leadership meetings.
Maintain standard work and track key metrics like on-time shipment and first-pass yield.
Ensure panels meet drawings, BOMs, specs, and testing requirements.
Interface with Project Manager and customer to communicate progress and risks.
Drive safety, training, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
