Job summary

PPS is seeking an experienced Panel Shop Manager to lead our UL 508A control panel fabrication operation in Phoenix. This plant-management level role oversees people, production, quality, safety, and compliance across the shop, working with Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, Field Operations, and the Controls Operations Manager to deliver panels on time and to spec.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing a UL 508A panel shop, with demonstrated success in building

Qualifications

• Experience leading a UL 508A control panel shop.
• Proven ability to manage production schedules and shop capacity.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and BOMs and interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the panel shop.
• Plan and manage production schedules and capacity.
• Maintain UL 508A compliance and documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, PM, Purchasing, and Field operations.
• Ensure panels meet NEC, NFPA, UL, and OSHA requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity and quality.
