Job summary

Advanced Industrial Devices, LLC in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the complete manufacturing process on the floor. You will resolve build issues, manage lean improvements, and drive on-time delivery with a hands-on leadership style.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in electrical panel manufacturing and prior supervisory experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Occasional collaboration across departments is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical panel or switchgear manufacturing.
• Experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and 5S.
• Experience with ERP systems and production data management.
• Bachelor's in engineering preferred; hands-on path valued.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage custom ETO production scheduling for multi-panel builds.
• First on-floor escalation for build issues, wiring/quality discrepancies, or schedule conflicts.
• Read prints, understand wiring/BOM, discuss technical issues with builders.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.
• Apply lean techniques to minimize waste and improve processes.
• Establish and maintain quality processes and standards throughout manufacturing.
• Lead RCA and CAR to address quality problems.
• Manage and motivate production team; lead by example on the floor.
• Maintain safe working environment with all safety processes.
• Oversee lineside inventory and contribute to process improvements.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and customer focus.
