Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks a Technician II - IGX for 2nd shift at Greenwood, SC. You will follow drawings, mount electrical equipment, and perform wiring operations within a lean manufacturing environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience with hand and pneumatic tools; ENOVIA and MS Office skills are a plus. Training on first shift may occur during the initial period, with a $1 shift differential for the 2nd shift and a potential incentive program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Experience with hand and pneumatic (air) tools.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC only.

Responsibilities

• Follow manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, and instructions.
• Complete ISO, quality, customer, and production checklists as required.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations.
• Regularly lift and assemble heavy copper components.
• Report Kanban inventory shortages to the appropriate operators.
• Inspect assemblies for missing or loose hardware and ensure cleanliness.
• Respond to change notices and development updates.
• Train and coach colleagues to support knowledge transfer.
