Job summary

Prime Controls is hiring a Production Associate I in Lewisville, TX. You will support fabrication of structural and sheet metal panels under the Production Manager, selecting parts, inputting data, and verifying assembly against schematics.

Daily tasks include BOM-based part selection, data entry, labeling, and inventory tracking with scanners. You may use WinTools and Corel Draw, and some hand tools to secure components in panels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and software operations (e.g., WinTools and Corel Draw).
• Familiarity with hand tools, such as screwdrivers, crimpers, strippers, and heat guns.

Responsibilities

• Inputs data into computer software and exports to printers and engravers.
• Creates wire tags, block markers, and name plates using computers, printers, wire tag machines, and engraving machines.
• Creates labels using WinTools and Corel Draw.
• Uses hand-held scanners to track inventory in stock room.
• Places equipment in panel slots and may use hand tools to secure equipment.
• Escalates issues when drawings/schematics are incorrect; redlines updated accordingly.
• Performs other routine duties.
