Job summary

Prime Controls, L.P. in Texas is seeking a Production Associate I to support fabrication of structural and sheet metal products under the Production Manager, handling BOM-based part selection, data entry, and schematics accuracy.

You will input data into computer software, create wire tags and name plates, print labels with WinTools and Corel Draw, and track inventory with scanners. The role involves using hand tools and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combo.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and software operations.
• Familiarity with hand tools such as screwdrivers, crimpers, strippers, and heat guns.

Responsibilities

• Select parts from stock room using BOM for panels.
• Verify BOM against schematics and adjust parts as needed.
• Input data into computer software and export to printers/engravers.
• Create wire tags, block markers, and name plates.
• Label items using WinTools and Corel Draw.
• Use handheld scanners to track inventory.
• Place equipment in panel slots and secure with hand tools.
• Escalate drawing/schematic discrepancies for updates.
• Perform other routine duties.
