Job summary

Expanse Electrical is seeking a Production Tech I to construct and wire control panels to UL/NEC standards at our Andrews, TX plant. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and adherence to Lean principles, with training and a focus on developing craftsmanship.

The Production Tech I will work under the Foreman and lead technicians, performing tasks from CAD-read to panel assembly, with emphasis on timely delivery and continuous improvement in workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read schematics and use provided tools.
• Willing to work flexible hours & extended shifts.
• Must pass drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Construct and wire control panels per CAD/ECAD drawings.
• Assemble, wire, cut, strip, solder, crimp, drill panels.
• Maintain 3S housekeeping and LEAN initiatives.
• Perform QC self-checks before submission.
• Deliver panels to customers and prepare for shipment.
• Follow QMS feedback and safety rules.
