Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a PAM Product Owner to lead the enterprise Privileged Access Management program and drive the Delinea product rollout across infrastructure, cloud, and applications.

You will own the multi-year roadmap, manage PAM Analysts, and promote risk-based controls, Zero Trust, and audit readiness while partnering with IAM governance, Security Operations, and Audit teams to deliver measurable security outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with IAM/Security controls (PAM, SSO, MFA, CIAM, RBAC).
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional tech/security initiatives.
• Strong partnerships with internal/external stakeholders; outcomes driven.
• Leadership through mentoring, roadmaps, and team maturity.
• Strong requirements gathering and delivery, Agile/Scrum experience.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year PAM strategy and roadmap for enterprise PAM.
• Serve as Product Owner for Delinea capabilities across infrastructure, cloud, and apps.
• Lead Privileged Access Analysts and drive program initiatives.
• Promote PAM best practices: vaulting, rotation, least privilege, strong auth, and governance.
• Implement lifecycle controls from discovery to de-provisioning across environments.
• Enable Zero Trust-aligned JIT access and time-bound entitlements.
• Oversee PAM capabilities: monitoring, credential lifecycle, session recording, analytics.
• Define risk-tiered policies and governance workflows; ensure accountability.
• Integrate PAM with ITSM and security tooling; improve detection and operations.
• Build relationships with IAM governance, Security Ops, Infra/Cloud, Audit/Compliance.
