Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to provide patient-centered, coordinated care, collaborating with hospital teams to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs.

The position favors hospice and palliative experience with night and weekend coverage as needed. Requires NP-level education, NJ RN license, DEA/ CDS prescriptive authority, NPI, and collaborative practice agreements. Strong communication and IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and clinical practice.
• Experience in a relevant patient care setting (or as regulations dictate).
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Prescriptive authority through CDS and DEA registration according to New Jersey state law.
• Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
