Job summary

PepsiCo in Grimes, IA is seeking a warehouse loader to hand-build pallets for bulk and route deliveries, operating a forklift or powered pallet jack and following load tickets and shipper/receiver documentation with accuracy and care. You will stage and wrap loads, and ensure safe, compliant handling in a fast-paced, weather-diverse environment.

Role requires lifting 20–45 lb cases repeatedly, long periods of standing and walking, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Experience driving a forklift and using pallet jacks.
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive power pallet jack or forklift to picking area and build pallet/load according to load sheet or voice pick audio equipment.
• Mark load ticket for out of stock items.
• Wrap pallet when pallet/load is finished.
• Turn in paper work with order for check before loading and have truck checked.
• Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready.
• Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets.
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
