Job summary

Krueger International in Manitowoc, WI is seeking an Assembly Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing team focused on final assembly and packaging. This entry-level role suits individuals who enjoy working with tools and following production schedules while contributing to continuous improvement.

You will train new technicians in your cell, participate in Kaizen events, and promote a safe work environment. The role requires a High School diploma and strong teamwork and safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and package products according to work instructions and schedules.
• Operate hand tools and production equipment (e.g., presses, drills, robots, vacuum lifts).
• Use scanning equipment and maintain high-quality standards.
• Train new technicians in your cell.
• Participate in Kaizen events and layout planning.
• Share ideas to improve processes and efficiency.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
• Train new employees on PPE and safety protocols.
• Report safety concerns to leadership.

Shift Hours: 2pm - 10pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtime

Salary: $19.00 an hour + $2.00 Shift Premium

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to walk, stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Work performed in a manufacturing facility that is not fully climate controlled.
• Overtime may be required to meet customer demands.
