Job summary

KI is hiring an Assembly Technician to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. You will handle final assembly and packaging of products, following production schedules and utilizing hand tools, presses, drills, and robots.

This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with tools and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. The position supports a 2pm–10pm shift with potential overtime and offers benefits including health, vision, dental, and HSA contributions, plus

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work under tight deadlines.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and package products according to work instructions and schedules.
• Operate hand tools and production equipment (e.g., presses, drills, robots, vacuum lifts).
• Use scanning equipment and maintain high-quality standards.
• Train new technicians in your cell.
• Participate in Kaizen events and layout planning.
• Share ideas to improve processes and efficiency.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
• Train new employees on PPE and safety protocols.
• Report safety concerns to leadership.

Shift Hours: 2pm - 10pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtime

Salary: $19.00 an hour +$2.00 Shift Premium

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to walk, stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Work performed in a manufacturing facility that is not fully climate controlled.
• Overtime may be required to meet customer demands.
