Job summary

KI is seeking a full-time Paintline Technician for our Green Bay manufacturing facility on the 1st shift (6am-2pm, Mon-Fri). The starting rate is $19/hour with a $1.00/hour raise within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities include hanging parts on the paint line, applying powder coat, color changes, taping to prevent scratches, and supporting assembly cells to meet schedules. High school diploma preferred; manufacturing experience helpful.

• Manufacturing experience a plus.

• Manually apply powder paint to production parts.
• Perform paint color changeovers; tape parts to prevent scratches.
• Inspect & pack parts off the line (assemble if necessary).
• Keep record of bad parts; JIT scan.

KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Paintline Technician to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 1st shift. $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Job Duties

Paintline Technicians are responsible for hanging parts/hooks on the paint line, taking hooks off as needed, applying the powder coat paint to the product, performing color changes and taping product coming off the paint line. The Paintline Technicians support the assembly cells and provide them with needed product to meet their final assembly schedules.

• Hang hooks and parts on the Paint line following the identified priorities
• Manually apply powder paint to production parts
• Perform paint color changeoversTape parts coming down from the line to prevent scratches
• Inspect & pack parts off the line (assemble if necessary)
• Keep record of bad parts
• JIT scan

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

Physical Requirements

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment

• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift

• This is a 1st Shift position
• Hours are 6am-2pm Monday-Friday
• Starting rate of pay is $19/hour
• Overtime during busy season
