Job summary

Central Stone in Hannibal, MO seeks a Painter/General Laborer to handle media blasting and painting of structural steel, with potential duties in forklift operations and fabrication support. This daytime, Monday–Friday role may require some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Willingness to train the right candidate in painting and media blasting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment and production areas safely and efficiently.
• Media blasting, priming, and top coat painting of steel pieces.
• Assemble completed items and paint as needed.
• Communicate with shop management and team on safety, maintenance, and production needs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Central Stone is currently filling the Painter/General Laborer position at our Hannibal, MO location. This position’s main function will be that of a painter (media blasting and painting of structural steel), but depending on the work load, you’ll spend time assisting with general duties such as forklift operations and fabrication of assorted items. This is a daytime position, generally working Monday through Friday, but some Saturdays may be required from time to time.

Our ideal candidate would possess two years of verifiable experience in media blasting and paint of structural steel. A good working knowledge of media blasting and commercial procedures is helpful, but we will train the right individual.
