Job summary

Rosen Hotels & Resorts in Orlando is seeking a Painter II to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces across our properties.

You will apply coats, prepare surfaces, mix finishes, and maintain a safe, clean work area while delivering friendly, service-oriented guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of related painting experience.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs infrequently.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to designated surfaces per specifications.
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling cracks, and repairing imperfections.
• Select and mix paints or finishes for each job.
• Wall and ceiling texture.
• Mix and apply epoxy, acrylic, silicone paints, and stain.
• Use a pressure washer.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety guidelines.

Job description

The Painter II at Rosen Hotels & Resorts is responsible for applying coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and other structures. They must approach all encounters with guests, employees, and vendors in a friendly and service-oriented manner based on Company Standards.

Responsibilities:

• Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to designated surfaces according to specifications
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling cracks, and repairing imperfections
• Select and mix the appropriate paint or finish for each job
• Wall and ceiling texture.
• Mix and apply epoxy, acrylic, silicone paints, and stain.
• Use a pressure washer.
• Ensure that all painting tools and equipment are clean and in good working condition
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following safety guidelines and procedures
• Handle paint, chemicals, and fumes safely and responsibly
• Approach all encounters with guests, employees, and vendors in a friendly and service-oriented manner
• Adhere to the drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policies of the company

Experience/Qualifications:

• 2 + years of related experience is required
• Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
