Job summary

Rosen Inn International is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard guests, staff, and property at our Orlando property, upholding Rosen standards of service and safety. You will monitor security systems, patrols, and respond to incidents, with a focus on maintaining a secure, welcoming environment for all visitors.

Qualifications include 21+ years old, clean driving record, and ability to drive company vehicles.

Qualifications

• Previous security, law enforcement, or related field preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must pass the company security written test.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergencies.
• Familiarity with security systems, including surveillance cameras and alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras and conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the property.
• Enforce hotel policies and respond promptly to security issues and violations.
• Respond to guest and employee emergencies, providing assistance and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Assist with the implementation and execution of safety drills and training sessions for hotel staff.
• Accurately report incidents and maintain detailed security logs for record-keeping and review.
• Must have the ability to drive a company-assigned golf cart or other company-assigned vehicle.
• Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
• All other duties as assigned.

Theyenforce Rosen policies and regulations and ensure compliance withapplicable laws by surveying the property for potential dangers and distractions to guests' enjoyment.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must be able to pass the company security written test.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergencies.
• Familiarity with security systems, including surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a Florida State driver's license in current good standing.
