Job summary

Intermountain Electronics seeks a Painter Helper for the First Shift at its South Point, Ohio facility. The role supports the paint department, performing surface prep, masking, and assembly tasks while training toward industrial painting skills. The position offers a steady schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

or 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., with opportunities for growth. Responsibilities include preparing equipment for painting, operating pressure washers, and assisting in final assembly as needed.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is preferred; basic experience or training may be acceptable.
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform frequent heavy lifting.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment to be painted by cleaning, washing, masking, tapping and prepping surfaces.
• Lift and hang pieces on a rack to be cleaned and painted.
• Operate a pressure washer and forklifts as needed.
• Assist with painting tasks and learn industrial painting processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
