Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company seeks a Store Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist both retail and contractor customers with product recommendations, color matching, and order support while maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

You will report to the Store Manager and contribute to achieving sales goals across multiple channels, including in person, phone, and online orders.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers in a professional manner.
• Ability to use a computer and keyboard for order processing and customer support.
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours including weekends as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutions.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing.
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications.
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes.
• Process customer orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channels.
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goals.
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle.
• Resolve customer concerns and elevate issues when needed.
• Safely handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Support daily store operations and team priorities as needed.
