Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing, and help drive store performance.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will maintain a clean, organized store and support daily operations, including loading orders and handling payments in-person, online, and via email channels.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Strong communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutions.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing.
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications.
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes.
• Process customer orders and payments in-person, online, and email channels.
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goals.
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalated issues when needed.
• Safely handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Support daily store operations and team priorities as needed.
