Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company seeks a Store Sales Associate to join the US Commercial team, delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist retail and contractor customers with product recommendations, color matching, order support, and payments, while upholding store standards.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll help drive sales, maintain a clean, organized store, and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license required; background check and physical may be required.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutions
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes
• Process customer orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channels
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goals
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle
• Resolve customer concerns and lift issues when needed
• Safely handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and order fulfillment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
• Support daily store operations and team priorities as needed
