Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional customer experience in our fast-paced retail environment. You will support retail and contractor customers with product recommendations, color matching, and order processing while contributing to a welcoming store atmosphere.

Reporting to the Store Manager, this role requires at least 18 years of age, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers in a professional manner.
• Ability to use a computer for order processing and customer support.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40-60 pounds routinely.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutions
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes
• Process customer orders and payments through multiple channels
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goals
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle
• Resolve customer concerns and elevate issues when needed
• Safely handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and order fulfillment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
• Support daily store operations and team priorities as needed
